Most of our products are printed using a direct-to-garment (DTG) process, this allows for a wider array of vibrant colors and hues and a softer feel than those of screen-printed items. But as in all cases, care must be taken to preserve the quality of the printed image and product. Here’s how best to care for your purchase.
Washing:
Turn the garment inside out before washing.
Machine wash cold with like colors.
Use a gentle cycle to protect the print.
Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as they may damage the print.
Drying:
Tumble dry low or hang the garment to air dry.
Avoid high heat settings to prevent any damage to the print.
Ironing:
If ironing is necessary, iron the garment inside out on a low setting.
Avoid ironing directly on the printed design.
Storage:
Store your garment in a cool, dry place.
Avoid hanging heavy items on the garment, as this may distort its shape.
General Tips:
Do not dry clean DTG-printed garments.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Take care when wearing accessories like backpacks or belts, as they may cause friction and affect the print over time.
Additional Notes:
The first few washes may produce slight fading or residue, which is normal for DTG prints.
Colors may appear differently in person than they do on a digital screen.
